 How to Give Student Promotion in EMIS By Using Mobile by R.Gopinath Emis.tnschools.gov.in

In order to move students to the appropriate classes and schools for the Academy Year 2020-21, the schools need to follow a step by step process. Second Step is explained below in  Emis.tnschools.gov.in website

Step 1 - Moving students in terminal class to common pool (completed) 

]Step 2 - Promotion of students Go to Schools Menu- Class & Section and ensure all necessary classes and section with correct medium are created.  

Go to Students Menu in Emis.tnschools.gov.in Website  - Student Promotion. Promote students in the order of highest class to lowest class. For example, in a primary school, after moving 5th students to common pool promote 4th students to 5th standard first.  

Then promote 3rd to 4th, then 2nd 3rd and then finally promote 1st standard students to 2nd standard. This process must be carried out sequentially for each class and section in Emis.tnschools.gov.in Website .
